The 2026 Ivy League Men's Swimming & Diving Championships are in full swing at DeNunzio Pool in Princeton, New Jersey. With the fourth and final day of competition underway, the Princeton Tigers are on track to defend their Ivy League title, holding a commanding 77.5-point lead over Yale. But the battle for fourth place between Brown, Cornell, and Columbia is far from over. The day's events kicked off with the 1650-yard freestyle, where Harvard's William Mulgrew shattered the Ivy League record with a time of 14:26.79, becoming the 18th-fastest performer all-time in this event. Mulgrew's performance was a lifetime best, taking more than 20 seconds off his previous best from 2023. Yale's Noah Millard, the 500-yard free champion, took second place within 14 seconds of his lifetime best time from last season's NCAAs. The 200-yard backstroke saw Harvard's Adriano Arioti take first place with a time of 1:39.60, the only swimmer to crack 1:40.00. Princeton's Parker Lenoce and Cornell's Pietro Ubertalli were in the lead up until the 100-yard mark, splitting 48.51 and 49.46, respectively. Ubertalli held onto first place for another 50 yards, until Arioti blasted a 24.84 final 50 to overtake him. The 100-yard freestyle was won by Princeton's Patrick Dinu, who matched his Ivy League Meet record time of 41.36 from prelims. Yale's Nicholas Finch had won every individual event he's swum this weekend, but Dinu came back half-a-second faster to hit the wall first. The 200-yard breaststroke saw Penn's Watson Nguyen and Peter Whittington take first and second places, respectively, with times of 1:52.03 and 1:52.10. Columbia's Joshua Corn held the lead early on but was overtaken by the Penn duo. The 200-yard butterfly was won by Princeton's Mitchell Schott, who set a new Ivy League Record with a time of 1:39.05, lowering the mark he set last year by nearly six-tenths. With their 1-3-5-6-8 finish in this race, Princeton has jumped back into the lead in team standings with 1275 points. Yale is in second with 1172.5 points. The day's events concluded with the 3-meter diving, where the Ivy League Record holder, Jonathan Suckow from Columbia, did not participate. The final team scores are as follows: Princeton - 1275 points, Yale - 1172.5 points, Harvard - 785.5 points, Brown - 586 points, Cornell - 581 points, Columbia - 580.5 points, Dartmouth - 466 points, Penn - 444.5 points.
